Competitions being Entered this Year:
Having just started winter training my indoor competition schedule starts in February 2012 . No definitive competition schedule has been set as yet however it will no doubt be based around the UK National Championships & European Trials with a view to qualification for the European Indoor Championships

Best Sporting Achievement to Date:
English Schools Champion 2008
Northern Champion 2007/2009/2010/2011
National Champion 2007/2010
UK No 1 Ranking 2008/2009/2010
GB Represented:
World Youth Games 2008
Diamond League 2011
World University Games 2011
Great North City Games 2011

Goals for the Year:
For the next 9 months it's all about achieving the Olympic 'A' qualification time of 12.95. This season I brought my PB down from 13.50 to 13.28 (I also ran 13.13 but it was an illegal wind). In addition I will be aiming to continue to represent GB in some  high profile events (Diamond League)

Long Term Ambition:
As a 21 year old sprint hurdler under normal circumstances it usually takes another 3 to 5 years before 'peaking' however given my record to date I am aiming to regularly compete at the highest level within twelve months.

Message to JB Trust Supporters:
A message to JB Trust's younger supporters would be as an elite athlete  whilst you can still have and enjoy a social life you have to accept that you cannot live the life of a 'normal' young person. If you are prepared to accept this and put in the hard work then there's no better feeling than winning competitions. In addition, if you achieve the required standard Athletics gives you the chance to travel all over the World. Like the feeling of winning  wearing your country's colours is awesome.

In general I have absolutely no doubts about my priorities and were I want to be in Athletics and providing I can stay injury free I will get there !!
