Latest Update about Emily from her Dad John:
Emily was selected for the Great Britain team for both the Junior European Championship in Zagreb, Croatia and the World Championships in Brandenburg, Germany. She made the final at both championships finishing 7th at the Europeans (where she was a bit disappointed) as she held definite medal hopes but performed really well at the World Championships finishing 5th beating many athletes that finished ahead of her at the Europeans including the bronze medallist. She is now preparing to defend her National title in the K1 (individual) 200 metre event over the weekend 10/11 September at the National Water Sports Centre, Nottingham.
Regards. John.
