The Joanna Brown Trust is delighted to be able to support some exceptional young athletes. With our support we hope they can continue to improve and excel in their respective sports.

Aasha Kimpton, an 12 year old gymnast from Hackney, London, was the first recipient of our £2,000 award in partnership with Sport Islington, The Joanna Brown Trust award for sporting excellence. George Durden has been awarded the 2010 Joanna Brown Trust award for sporting excellence (£2,000). George is a 17 year old kayaker from Islington and is ranked in the top 10 for his age group in the county. James Gibson, a 20 year old swimmer from Manchester, received £500 through our partnership with Sports Aid. James is aiming to make the Team GB Squad for 2012. Learn more about James by clicking here.
